About us

We have three groups that are responsible for ensuring the quality of various subsystems in the powertrain. The groups consist of people with different backgrounds and experience where testing and verification of the future powertrain for heavy vehicles are the common denominators. All groups are characterized by an inclusive, positive and helpful attitude.

Your work tasks

A typical week as a test engineer consists of a wide variety of tasks, including:

  • analyse and review requirements and create test cases for verification of new functions
  • perform exploratory testing in vehicles (truck and bus)
  • write automated test scripts for different test environments, SIL and HIL (Software/Hardware-In-the-Loop)
  • perform tests (vehicles or simulated test environment) and analyse test results
  • develop and improve test strategies and test processes

As a test engineer, you get a broad knowledge of the control system and a good overview of how the functions are connected in the software. You are part of the test team but also of a team of function and software developers to get close to the function development. An exciting part of the job is that you try new methods and ideas to constantly find better ways to verify the products of the future.

You are a curious and driven engineer with experience in programming and software development. You have a vehicle interest with general vehicle knowledge and also more specific knowledge of the powertrain components is an advantage. You have a European driving license for a car and handle English and Swedish in speech and writing.

To thrive with us, we believe that you are a person who is meticulous and encouraged by technical challenges. You have an ability to quickly familiarize yourself with advanced problems with a desire to find creative solutions together with your colleagues.
