About the job

Power Solutions is a product-area responsible for developing and marketing a wide range of engines for industrial and marine applications. The business is run as a "company within the company" based on synergies, with a clear profitability target in addition to the general Scania target. At Technical Development, within Power Solutions, we are responsible for the development and adaptation of complete engines and their performance throughout the project and product lifecycle. The transition to sustainable and electrified solutions is also evident in the motor industry and we are determined to contribute to that future.

The "Mechanical Design" team within Power Solutions is now looking for a driven, active and self-motivated development engineer. In the future, we will also work with electrification and hybridization. Our goal is to be at the forefront in terms of performance, emissions and sustainable solutions. In this role you will acquire a good product knowledge and a wide network within Scania, and you will be welcomed by highly engaged, skilled and experienced engineers.

You will also participate during test assemblies in production, technical discussions with suppliers and work cross-functionally with other departments within Scania's organization. In addition to the work with product development, you also need to be driven in the work to streamline our work, processes and tools.

Your profile
An appropriate educational background is a master, bachelor or equivalent in mechanical engineering or product development. Competence acquired through work experience is also highly valued.

As we work for diversity within the organization, we welcome female applicants for this position.
