Development Engineer for Generators

Do you have education in electrical engineering, and you have the experience of working with generators? Then you are the right person for the role of Development Engineer for Generators.

About the position

You will be a part of development department för design and standards in “middle voltage” area of expertise.

Development department manages, creates and develops technical solutions, standards and base documentation in order to meet customer’s needs and requirements, such as fuel flexibility, efficiency, power improvement and emission reduction. The work is carried out in Comos, PLM and SAP.

You will also work with the development of various technical supporting documents and with creation of standards in the technical field of focus. With your specialist expertise in generators, you will participate in internal training and act as technical support and advisor to other departments.

You will have continuous dialogue with subcontractors regarding new standards, technical solutions, spare parts and tools. As a Development Engineer, you will work with extensive external and internal contact networks, both locally, nationally and globally.

Who are you?

To perform in the role of Development Engineer, it is crucial that you have extensive experience working with generators, relay protection or transmission networks. We also see that you have a higher education in electrical engineering. It is meritorious if you have experience of working with gas turbines, their auxiliary systems or other relevant technical products. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

You are confident in your skills, you think in new ways and see the development opportunities for the technical area of generators. Your trusting way combined with your ability to build relationships creates good cooperation with colleagues, managers, customers and suppliers. You value structure, planning, clarity and communication in your work.
