Data Architect (SAFe Train Architect)

What you will do

Act as Train Architect for the Data and Analytics ART (Agile Release Train) (according to the SAFe model)

Act as an advisor to guide and support business and IT stakeholders in all decisions relating to data and analytics

Lead other data architects, data engineers, and data warehouse engineers within the ART to deliver the solutions that fulfill the business needs.

Create and maintain a long-term architecture for data and analytics. This includes data lake, data warehouse, and all forms of analytics from reporting to machine learning.

Create and maintain roadmaps to drive the necessary change from the current situation and align with the long-term architecture

Align operational decisions with roadmaps and long-term architecture

Establish lower-level architecture artifacts such as patterns, best practices, and golden paths or guidelines to align daily development with long-term architecture

Monitor the data and analytics market on emerging methods and technologies and assess their relevance to the organization to drive business value.

• Evolve the group’s capabilities on data and analytics in daily operation, which includes being involved in recruitment processes and mentoring colleagues.

What experience you have

SAFe experience including relevant certifications is HIGHLY beneficial (but not mandatory)

Scrum experience is mandatory

Minimum 9 years' experience in developing data and analytics solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle, support, and SDLC processes

Experienced leading a team including architects, engineers, quality assurance, and operations professionals

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Established experience delivering data and analytics solutions to large numbers of end-users

Demonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management, and data management

• Basic understanding Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM or Cloudformation
• Knowledge of infrastructure, network, storage, PaaS och IaaS
• Experience of working with analytics in Azure

Experience with two or more vendors in any of the following areas including; SQL Server, Oracle 11g, MySQL, SQL Data Warehouse Appliance, Oracle Exadata, Netezza, Greenplum, Vertica, Teradata, Aster Data, SAP HANA, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, QlikView, R, Oracle Endeca, Oracle OBIEE, SAP Business Objects, SAS and other Analytics Vendors with BI components

Experience in presenting to internal and external audiences.

Fluent in Swedish and English

Experience working with offshore deliveries is beneficial
