Defence Business Project Manager – Planning and project office, Customized truck development

Do you want to be a part of a dedicated team working with customized defence projects on complete truck systems? Do you want to act in an environment where the customer's requests always are in focus? Are you stimulated by leading projects with an “end to end” responsibility? Then this position may be something for you!

The defence projects are initiated by Sales and Marketing based on specific customer requests and run in accordance to “Process for Defence Project”.

Our project portfolio includes tender and order projects to several defence forces globally. An increased demand for “on” and “off road” defence vehicles are resulting in a capacity reinforcement for those types of projects.

The project teams has a composition of employees where different genders, ages, backgrounds and experiences contribute to a positive group dynamic and where knowledge sharing and willingness to cooperate is a matter of course.

The Planning and Project Office section also includes S-order Project Management which leads civilian development projects and the planning group S-order Planning and Co-ordination.

Work assignments

With commitment, you lead the project team. You continuously support and coach the project members to achieve agreed deliveries and goals. You have the customer in focus and are passionate about cross-functional collaboration and can thereby ensure that the project deliver the right activities on time, at the right quality and cost.

Profile

- You have good knowledge of the defence industry in general.

- Proven record of project management assignments towards defence customers globally.

- Familiar with methods/ processes and standards such as Process for Defence Project, STANAG, AQAP, ISO, etc.

You like to act in a changing environment where the customer is in focus. In a natural way, you engage your surroundings. With a positive, clear and engaging leadership, you guide the teams towards set goals and deliveries. You have the ability to drive projects with determination and clarity towards a demanding and often change-prone customer.

You are a good listener and team player, unpretentious, flexible and structured. It is important that you can communicate well in both Swedish and English and also be stimulated by working with many different things at the same time.

You like to challenge and streamline existing working methods and processes.

Your educational background is a University or Master of Science degree and you have managerial and / or senior project management experience.
