As the company continues to grow, we are expanding our team of Technical Project Leaders (TPLs).
As a Technical Project Leader, you will play a key role in delivering Firefly’s systems to customers. You will be responsible for the technical execution of projects, from order and project handover through engineering, coordination, commissioning support, and project completion. You will work closely with Sales, Service, Production, as well as customers, distributors, and partners worldwide.
The role also includes helping the whole department to continuously improve project execution, from developing internal tools and processes to supporting the introduction of new products and technologies. You will help turn technical knowledge and new solutions into clear procedures, tools, and documentation for efficient, consistent project execution.
This is a hands-on and international role where you will combine technical expertise with project coordination and customer interaction. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for technology and who excels in leading their own projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Leading and coordinating customer projects
Designing and configuring Firefly fire prevention and protection systems
Preparing technical documentation, drawings, system configurations and project documentation
Acting as the technical contact between Firefly, customers, contractors and distributors
Supporting installation, commissioning and start-up of systems when required
Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting customers during project phases
Develop and improve internal processes, engineering documents, and internal tools used by the whole department
Support the introduction of new projects and technologies
Contribute to building a common engineering knowledge base within the organization
For this position, we are looking for someone skilled at problem-solving, committed to their work, and willing to put in extra effort when needed. You are known for your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and comfort with working on projects where not everything is yet defined.
While you are comfortable both leading independent projects and contributing to team efforts, you excel in collaboration. Your commitment to quality and proficiency in structured environments are clear strengths.
We prefer that you have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
Experience in technical project work, system engineering, automation, or industrial installations.
A strong technical understanding and the ability to solve complex problems.
Experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD
Professional proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
A valid driver’s license and passport for traveling in the country and abroad
Experience within fire protection or industrial safety is considered an advantage.
We prefer candidates with 2-10 years of experience in the manufacturing or construction industries. In this recruitment process, we will prioritize your personal qualities and your interest in the position.
On the personal side, we’re looking for someone who’s curious about technology, proactive, and self-motivated, but also enjoys being part of a team. You’ll need to be confident, responsible, and ready to work with colleagues and partners across different time zones. Most importantly, you should enjoy connecting with people and bringing technical projects to life, both from behind your desk and out in the field.
You get the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding role within an inspiring environment that fosters creativity and innovation. Our modern and spacious office is located in Hammarby Sjöstad. At Firefly, employee satisfaction is a top priority, and we provide excellent development opportunities and attractive benefits. As a project leader, you will have various development paths based on your specific interests. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise, travel regularly in Sweden and abroad, and play a key role in shaping customer success.
