Join Siemens Financial Services as an Integration specialist within our Global Operations team. The team is responsible for leading the operational delivery of our services, working closely with all functions to support and enhance the operations, with a strong focus on platforms and processes. The Integration Specialist serves as the Subject Matter Expert for our API offerings, providing essential support and solutions for internal teams. This role involves troubleshooting API issues , collaborating with business and IT teams to optimize API use and supporting strategic decisions related to API development.
Key responsibilities:
· Support and Troubleshooting: Deliver support and resolution on the effective utilization of configuration. Identify and troubleshoot business issues within the application.
· Issue Escalation: Manage the escalation of software bugs and enhancement requests through established procedures. Determine which requests require further investigation by external providers and provide them with outline solutions or investigation information.
· Customer Consultation: Collaborate with the business and configuration teams to offer guidance on optimizing configuration use for enhancements, considering their requirements.
· Strategic API Development: Support the Global Product Owner in making strategic decisions about API development and approaches to take, prioritizing changes to facilitate a global rollout.
· Board Participation: Represent Global Operations in the Change Approval Board for configuration.
What skills and experience will you bring?
· In-depth knowledge of APIs, (experience with Alfa v5 preferred).
· Experience in application ownership.
· Knowledge of the leasing industry, from origination to portfolio management and customer service.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and understanding of SQL.
· Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
· Analytical and organizational skills, with attention for accuracy and detail.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
· Adaptability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
· Eager to learn and understand business processes, and consider how these could be handled within a software landscape
· Competence in clearly articulating specifications and results in writing.
· Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet critical deadlines.
