In Core Business Range (Range) we design and develop all IKEA products that furnishes hundreds of millions of homes around the globe and contributes to a better everyday life for the many people. Our role in the IKEA value chain is to develop the best possible products at lowest possible cost, provide a complete and coordinated offer and manage the home furnishing businesses and through the product range, we connect and optimise the whole value chain.
The Communication function in Range has the assignment to lead, develop and enable impactful communication that strengthens the IKEA brand by creating engagement, building trust for IKEA and enabling better business.
We are looking for a Communication Leader!
As Communication Leader in Range, you are an important part of moving our most important strategic and business questions through the power of communication.
In this role, you will be a main contributor of setting the holistic communication approach, agenda and plan, leading proactive communication to deepen the understanding of who IKEA is and how we do things and creating engagement in our most important topics (this could be connected to range and design, strategic sustainability topics and much more).
You will develop, lead and execute the approach for our key spokespeople in Range, coach and in some cases provide hands on support creation and activation of content.
You will play a key role in further developing our external communication agenda to continue the journey we are on of bringing commercial and corporate communication and PR closer and create more impact.
You will report to the Communication Manager in Range and work very closely with Range Strategy & Identity (Range), Strategy & Plan (IKEA Marketing & Communication), Media Relations and with key stakeholders across the IKEA network.
