Group CFO to RaySearch Laboratories

Gazella is now recruiting a Chief Financial Officer to RaySearch Laboratories. We are looking for an analytical and experienced leader who will have the responsibility for further developing the finance function and its processes. As CFO, you will participate in key decisions, be a part of the executive management team and report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is also the Founder of the company. As CFO, you will ensure solid analysis of business cases and impact on company financials as well as working operationally and strategically with a wide range of topics both independently and with the team. Your challenge

As CFO at RaySearch, your core responsibilities will be:

• Ensure and lead an efficient finance department that provides deep business insights, value adding decision support as well as high quality accounting and reporting.
• Continue to drive the transformation of the finance department into an efficient, digitalized, and modern function suited for the company’s current and future needs.
• Work closely with the company’s CEO, the management team, and the board of directors to actively contribute to the development of the company.
• Manage and oversee the company’s finance and accounting since it is critical to RaySearch’s growth journey.
• Ensure solid analysis of business cases and impact on company financials and managing risks.
• Handle relationships with the board of directors as well as investors, banks, auditors, and other external parties.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, ensure transparency, and enable steering and follow-up of the business.
• Be responsible for sustainability and reporting according to CSRD.

Your Background

We are seeking a candidate with a strong academic background and experience as a CFO in a public company. You have solid experience in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and controlling as well as thorough knowledge of systems, processes and procedures related to finance. You also come with a broad financial background and deep comprehension of IFRS. International experience is a requirement and experience from working in a development-oriented organization is considered an asset. Your lingual skills include fluency in English, both written and spoken, and fluency in Swedish is considered a merit.

You are self-motivated and self-driven with a positive ’can do’ problem solving attitude. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the big and to be responsive to the company’s needs.

RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) is a medical technology company that develops innovative software solutions for improved cancer treatment. RaySearch markets the RayStation®* treatment planning system (TPS) and the oncology information system (OIS) RayCare®*.
