The section base engine within engine development are responsible for designing and testing parts aimed for excellent and robust ICE with world leading performance for different brands within the Traton group.
As a development engineer you will be part of an innovative team developing our products with a tough target “Fit for the future”. This means deliver customer value and at the same time reducing the environmental impact.
We are now increasing the design teams for lubrication- and cooling system with two development engineers to be able to fulfill and deliver demands of our new products.
Your assignment
As a development engineer within our section you will be responsible for the hardware parts. You will design the part, create drawings and communicate cross functional with other teams at Scania. You will work closely with the design engineers responsible for neighboring parts, and you will define tasks for simulation and test activities according to design guidelines.
As part of our team you will follow the development of the hardware, from idea to finalized product, and will be an important part of the continuous learning in the team.
