Intelligent Transport Systems is a section of four, soon five groups at Scania R&D. We are contributing to Autonomous Transport Solutions by providing cloud based systems (AWS) for automated, optimized and safe vehicle control and monitoring.
The section is growing and we are creating a new group responsible for overall system capabilities. To this group, we are now looking for a first line manager who wants to help us develop our section and its management team, build great development teams and contribute to sustainable transport solutions. As the group does not exist today, it will put high responsibility on you to recruit, build a culture and make the team feel responsible. You are contributing with competence development, building efficient and healthy agile teams, coaching of employees, improvement work and product guidance. You also support your teams in their collaboration with other teams and stakeholders within and outside Scania. You will work closely with the other managers in Intelligent Transport Systems and contribute to the management team’s work such as strategical planning and organization development.Your profile
You have strong management and servant leadership skills. You have a lot of enthusiasm and you have the ability to see people’s capabilities and to trust others. To succeed in this position you need to be strong in building teams, be communicative, show grit and be energized by challenges.

You have a graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have professional experience in software development and shown experience as a people manager. Good command of English is required. Good Swedish language skills is an advantage.
