About the job

Scania’s purpose is to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system, creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society and the environment. To achieve this Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on our ability to utilize the power of software and data.

To strengthen our ability to build a modern digital ecosystem that enables a data-driven Scania we are now looking for an enterprise architect to join our architectural office.

Your role

As an Enterprise architect, you are the bridge between business & IT – translating business strategy to IT strategy with a holistic long-term perspective - to ensure that our global IT landscape supports current and future business models and enables the Scania Group to fully utilize the power of software and data.

In your role you engage with top management, business developers as well as the IT-architectural community to provide strategic recommendations, target architecture, decision material, enterprise guardrails and to ensure that we understand the consequences of the decisions we take.

You lead or participate in assignments to develop strategy, target architecture and roadmaps as well as to ensure groupwide execution of strategy.

You use your curiosity and open mind to find new trends – regarding data architecture, technology as well as way of working - and bring that knowledge into our global organisation to further develop our abilities to utilize the power of software and data.

You drive optimisation of our application portfolio including optimal use of common platforms for enterprise efficiency.

You drive an efficient IT-landscape to meet increasing cross-functional business needs within Scania as well as within TRATON Group.

Your profile

You have a strong background with architectural work within global organisations, with an agile mindset and hands on approach to develop and drive architectural work. You have the ability to translate complicated technical discussions to business language and vice versa.

You thrive in a global, complex and everchanging environment - where you build trust and drive change through continuous dialogue.
