System Integration Specialist for autonomous vehicles

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania Autonomous Transport Solution (ATS)

Working at ATS is exciting! We are working with the mining and confined domain and delivering autonomous solutions to customers in especially Western Australia. Autonomous puts high demands of all our systems since there is no driver than can be a fallback. Besides our confined domain we are also working with our on-road initiatives.

What we do!

We have a challenging future ahead of us, where we need to work both with new development and maintaining already delivered features. At ATS Offboard we are several development teams that consists of between 5-8 developers in each team, where we are trying to work as much end to end as possible within each team. We are acting in a rapid changing environment where we must act fast due to often changed conditions.

What you will do:

Integration is a key to success for us. We need to be able to integrate easy both internally between the different parts of the system, but also to external systems like Fleet Management Systems and other systems according to customer needs. You will work with mainly integration as a developer within one of our teams, but you will also help and guide other teams when it comes to integration. You will also act more strategically in setting long term integration strategies and have a close collaboration with the business and product management. We are currently involved in ISO standards, and you will act as our representative in discussions and taking Scania lead in the standardization work. With your expert knowledge within integration area, you will guide and mentor the organization regarding integration.

Who we think you are:

First, we think you have extensive experience and knowledge within the integration area. You have many years of experience preferably from different companies and domains. We believe that you also have strong leadership skills where you really can coach and mentor others within this key area for Scania ATS. You are also a very good developer in preferably C# and .NET, but it can be other languages and environment as well. You have a proven record as a good communicator where you have coached and helped other organizations. As a person we also think you are flexible and can adjust fast to changed conditions.
