About the roleAcademic Work is looking for a CIO-assistant at Scania. The position is open since the person with the role today will continue its career within the company. The person with the current position describes the role with these words:

It is a direct recruit, which means that the recruitment process will go via Academic Work but the employment will be through Scania.

An exciting role with varying tasks were no day is like the other
As the CIO assistant you'll have a wide range of tasks, varying from administrative, operational, and strategic level. You'll be a member of the IT management team and in the role you'll be in contact with people across the whole organisation.
In this role, you will:
Support the CIO in its role, for example set up meetings, prepare presentation material, summarize and follow up after meetings
Shape the way of working between you and the CIO (and the IT management) that you think is optimal for business development
Participate in the IT management meetings, summarize decision and communicate information to the organisation
Drive your own projects, your competence and development path determines what projects you encounter and/or initiates
In this role we see that you have:
A masters degree in economics, business administration or other relevant fields
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Experience within customer relations and/or project management
Passion for the value of IT
