Our client is now looking for a Test Developer in their Automatic Milking Systems team.

Assignment description and activities to be performed:

We are now looking for a Test Developer/Developer to their Automatic Milking Systems team. The automatic milking system is a mechanical milking robot controlled by software. As a Test Developer you will be working in the development of their test methods mainly in the SW area. You will be part of a new exciting project where the client work towards creating a more efficient test strategy where you as a developer have big ownership of the future simulating tool and the development forward. You will also participate in the testing.

You will be working mainly in the office and lab, occasionally in farm environment. The work is performed in close cooperation within R&D, Marketing and Support organizations.

Key Responsibilities for the position will be to;

• Make the test environment more effective with simulators, and eventually automatic tests.
• Be part of strategies of SW test methods and overall test planning.
• Work close together with SW developers/Test Engineers to coordinate needs and ideas.
• Analyze, review and assess user requirements, specifications and models for testability.
• Create test specifications.
• Collect, visualize and distribute test result and test progress
• Implement tests on all test levels, execute and log the tests, evaluate the results and document the deviations from expected results.

The Automatic Milking Systems team is responsible for products and features that provide the customer with tools to increase the profitability and efficiency of the operation, such as herd management, feeding and automatic milking, which gives the farmer much more freedom to carry out the business. You will report to AMS Test Manager.

Your qualifications:
We believe you have;

• At least 3-5 years working experience as a Test Developer/ Developer.
• Experience from Java Programming
• Testing experience
• Technical MSc or BSc or equivalent
• Previous experience in Polarion, Jira and Jenkins is a merit
• Product Development experience.
• Deep understanding for technology
• Language skills, fluent in English and Swedish in both written and spoken
