Have you worked as a Devops Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer for several years and want to take further step in your career as a Lead of our Site Reliability? We are looking for a driven leader to focus on coordination of the non-functional work and to be a non-functional (NF) evangelist in our team.
What you will be doing
You will be part of Shared Service Test and Release which is a team in Payments and Reporting that supports the Pay and Get Paid tribe currently with test and release strategy, E2E test coordination and Release Management. With you the team will also support the tribe in the SRE area. Empowering the teams to build reliable systems is one of the core pillars of your job. We work in an agile fashion and according to the SAFe framework.
As an DevOps/SRE Lead within Payments and Reporting your task will include:
Collaborate with Solution Architects and Tech Leads to contribute to non-function requirements (NFR’s) roadmap
Take ownership and coordinate, where necessary, implementation of NFR’s, resolve dependencies that occur during PI planning and execution
Mentor and guide our development teams in DevSecOps practices to empower them to build a reliable, secure and efficient ecosystem
Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this position you have:
•Good understanding and experience of working with complex architecture, high availability, security and disaster recovery
•A strong focus on systems reliability with monitoring, alerting, incident handling
•Ability to work effectively across multiple technical teams, to coach, inspire and promote new ways of working
•A mindset for automating everything that can be automated
•Experience in DevOps practices such as Continuous integration and delivery
It is a merit if you have experience in:
•Cloud (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
•Docker environment local/swarm
•Linux and bash scripting
•A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science or similar is a benefit. Equally important as any formal training or education is that you have a passion for the NFR aspects of software development with a strong interest in keeping you updated on the relevant trends in the industry and technology
For this position we believe that you have strong leadership skills and can collaborative with excellent coordination skills. As a person, you are a driven, proactive and committed DevOps professional who has an easy time building trust and collaborating with others and enjoy working in an ever-changing environment.
We expect written and verbal communication skills in English.
