What you will be doing
Control Center is a first line support function, with a continuous monitoring and operation services 24 hours per day,7 days of the week and 365 days per year. The team consists of 18 operators that contribute to ensuring a robust and stable technology environment of the whole of SEB. We are supporting applications and all IT platforms throughout the bank, we also provide Service Desk support on weekday evenings. Control Center are part of Technology, specifically Digital Workplace, IT Automation & Quality (DWAQ). We are now looking for a Control Center Operator to join the team.
As a Control Center Operator you are responsible to handle all tasks within Control Center services:
· Monitor both application and infrastructure events
· Identify, isolate and resolve alarms
· Register incidents and assign to applicable groups
· Request fulfilment (workorders in SPM) such as batch orders, urgent access, production deploy, restore of files
· Service Desk tasks, some acute errors and password problems.
Being part of the team, you contribute to continuous improvement both internally and in the cooperation with other teams. The position involves stakeholder and vendor contact, both in Swedish and in English.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this position you need to be service minded and have good social skills. You have the ability to multi-task and to prioritize and complete tasks, also in situations with time pressure and conflicting demands.
Also, you have:
· Knowledge of one or several of SEB IT platforms (eg Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, iSeries, Network, Storage).
· Good experience from having customer contact
· Good communication skills in Swedish and English
· Good knowledge about SEB
· IWS and JCL knowledge is also desired.
