Markets is a unit of a Corporate Banking division at SEB bank, that provides intermediation in financial markets, research, and risk management services for the main asset classes – FX, Interest rates and commodities. By working with complex financial instruments in ever-changing markets, we help our clients not only execute transactions, but also better understand the environment in which we operate and manage the risks associated.

Currently we are looking for a new team member – Senior Analyst at Markets.

What you will be doing:

Conducting research and analysis in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
Ensure production and publication of first-class fixed income, commodity, FX, and equity research
Daily publication of information letters on main developments in global financial markets, update on major central bank policies, commentary on major global macroeconomic information
Ad-hoc deep analysis and coverage on certain companies listed on Nasdaq Baltic
Preparing investor material for IPOs and Bond origination
Providing insights on developments in financial markets for bank’s corporate and SME clients in understandable yet professional manner
Communicating with media outlets, give interviews, and regularly publish articles on topics related to financial markets and investing

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Strong, independent drive, passion in markets and be result-oriented
Analytical mindset with the ability to describe events into understandable manner
Genuine willingness to share your insights with broad public via various channels
Higher education within mathematics, statistics, economics, or related fields
Obtained or are planning to obtain CFA, ACI, FRM certificate, financial broker or BFAA Investment Consultant license in the near future
Fluency in spoken and written Lithuanian and English
