Fuel Operations Manager

As a Fuel Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in our Supply & OPS-planning for Jet Fuel across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. You will ensure we purchase the right type of fuel at the right time, maintaining smooth operations in our fuel supply chain. This role places you at the core of our operations, acting as the day-to-day liaison between our fuel purchasers and key stakeholders including suppliers, terminals, and joint venture partners.

Challenges you will work on:

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee storage and product flow planning, ensuring compliance with compulsory stock obligations while managing complex product transfers via vessel, train, pipeline, and trucks. You will tackle the intricate task of optimizing the jet fuel and sustainable aviation fuel value chain by collaborating closely with fuel purchasers and external parties. As the main point of contact for product-related tasks, you will coordinate with terminals, inspectors, surveyors, ship agents, excise duty handlers, suppliers, and joint venture companies, ensuring seamless communication and operations. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in fostering a fact-based, data-driven approach to our operations.

To be successful, we believe you should have:

  • Excellent sense of order and structure.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of logistics and administration related to commodity operations.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
  • Thorough, patient, process-oriented, structured, with an analytical mindset and strong drive to achieve results.
  • Background in logistics, preferably related to commodities.
  • Skilled in using analytical performance tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Formal education can be replaced by significant, relevant professional experience.
  • Commitment to work from the office 4 days per week.
  • The role demands flexibility and responsiveness, as you may need to be available outside of normal working hours to address urgent matters.
