Test Automation Engineer

Right now, we need to strengthen our Software Quality team with a Test automation Engineer who will focus on design, development and implementing automated test solutions and improve the quality and efficiency of software testing in Marshall products.

What you’ll do & Roles & Responsibilities:

•Setup test environment for end-to-end auto testing of Marshall bluetooth products (application + firmware)

•Setup test environment for the auto testing of the Marshall app

•Setup test environment for the auto testing of firmware releases

•Build testing tools that support integration with CI/CD tools

•Identify and log the defects (bugs) in the firmware and the app

•Setup automated tests for wireless devices OTA stress test

•Work together with our firmware development team to setup automated tests for the firmware

•Work together with our application development teams to setup automated tests for the Marshall app

•Regression test the firmware deliveries before they are put on OTA

•Promote and implement best practice for test automation

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Test Automation engineer with a collaborative mindset to drive and develop our test automation efforts. To succeed in this role, you need to have a problem-solving approach, focused on being part of building quality products. You have an ability to handle complex workload and find solutions when challenges arise. We believe you have a great passion for new technologies and brings best practices regarding automated testing. You are a team player with great communication skills and enjoy working closely with your colleagues.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

• Programming knowledge in programming languages like Python, Java etc. Should be able to write efficient, maintainable code for test scripts.
  
  
• Automation tools: Experience with popular automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot framework, Selenium, Appium, Compose etc.
  
  
• CI/CD tools: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab to integrate automated tests in the development pipeline.
  
  
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like GitHub for managing code repositories
  
  
• You are proficient in both written and spoken English
  
  
• Experience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is a plus
  
  
• Ideally, you have an interest in staying up to date with the latest tech trends in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as developments in iOS and Android
