Retail Operation Solutions & Support is an integral part of Inter IKEA Retail Concept and consists of a team of people with a passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We are moving into a new chapter with an ambition to provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into the IKEA value chain and support the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Core digital retail offer and it covers key capabilities for retail operations. Currently our retail package is mainly used by the non INGKA retailers.

About the Job:

We are seeking a passionate Project Leader to join our team and drive implementation of digital solutions that support IKEA Retailers to operate the IKEA concept. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects, ensuring timely, on-brief, and on-budget delivery while maintaining a smart and lean approach from ideation to execution.


Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead (global) retailer and market transition projects - from a franchisor perspective - in relation to the core digital retail offer
  • Be the primary point of contact for the respective projects, build effective relationships & steer effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Deliver projects in the agreed scope, time and budget framework, whilst monitoring project risks
  • Anchor high quality of project deliverables through effective managerial and communication skills
  • Identify and manage dependencies in the project, between projects and with internal / external organizations
  • Monitor project progress through active planning, milestone follow up and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading projects in a global context, focusing on business or process development and implementation.
  • Project management certified (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of IKEA processes, organization.
  • Proven track record of running successful business and digital projects.
  • Experience with agile and hybrid project methodologies.
  • Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within an agile environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to the Project & Deployment Manager in ROSS.
