We are now looking for a Business Unit Controller

Business Unit Europe is a newly formed Business Unit within Billerud Group and represents circa two thirds of total Group Sales. Business Unit Europe operates across three functions; Commercial, Operations and Procurement & Wood Supply. We are now looking to temporarily strengthen our team with a senior finance professional in the role of Business Unit Controller for Europe. The role is a temporary replacement over a project period of two years with the possibility of extension and is a key member of the European finance community.

As temporary Business Unit Controller in our Business Unit you will operate in our key financial processes to secure on time and in full deliveries to meet business requirements. Key responsibilities of the role are but not limited to:


Your main tasks will be:

• to coordinate, monitor and analyze the financial forecasts of our Business Unit

• to coordinate, monitor and analyze the periodical closings

• to support in the preparation of monthly business summaries

• to support executional certainty of financial initiatives and projects

• to do ad hoc analysis.

Kvalifikationer

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

• a Business Administration or -Finance degree
• several years of experience from previous financial or business controlling roles
• experience from working at consolidated levels such as region, division, Business Unit or Group
• fluency in English and Swedish.

Additional requirements of importance are:

• expertise in MS Office, Consolidation tools such as Cognos or other equivalent systems
• ability to handle and draw conclusions from large data sets and complex data structures
• Process industry experience is a merit as is experience from publicly listed companies.
