As part of Billerud's SAP S/4HANA journey, we are looking for a SAP Test Lead to take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities across our SAP landscape. This is a key role where you will ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested, business requirements are met, and high-quality deliveries are achieved throughout implementation projects and ongoing application maintenance. 
  

About the role 
As SAP Test Lead, you will be part of the Global SAP Applications team and work closely with Business Process Leads, Subject Matter Experts, functional consultants, developers, solution architects, implementation partners, and other stakeholders across the organization. 
  

You will lead all testing activities across the SAP landscape, ensuring structured and efficient test execution throughout the project lifecycle. The role combines test strategy, test planning, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement of testing practices. 

  
Your main tasks will be: 
· Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including scope, approach, test methods, timelines, and resource planning. 

  
· Lead and coordinate testing activities across SAP modules, integrated systems, and multiple project teams and Application Maintenance. 

  
· Drive test execution through all phases, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Cutover Testing. 

 

· Manage the defect process, including documentation, prioritization, tracking, escalation, and resolution. 

  
· Monitor testing progress, communicate risks and issues, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and management. 

  
· Ensure adherence to established testing methodologies, standards, templates, and governance frameworks while contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. 

  
You report to: Manager Global SAP Applications. 

  
While the preferred location for this role is Solna, the position can also be based in one of our mills in Sweden. Frequent travel to our Solna office is an essential part of the role. 

Kvalifikationer

· University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. 

  
· Several years of experience working within SAP testing, quality assurance, or test management. 

  
· Test management certification such as ISTQB or similar is highly beneficial. 

  
· Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies. 

  
· Experience working with agile delivery methodologies is considered an advantage. 

  
· Strong understanding of end-to-end test data management and test quality assurance. 

  
· Strong documentation skills, including experience creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. 

  
· Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
