Financial Accountant at Sigicom

Do you want to work in an international and growing company where you will take full ownership of accounting while contributing to the development of a modern finance function? Sigicom is now looking for a Financial Accountant to join its headquarters in Älvsjö, Stockholm.

In this role, you will be part of a close-knit team and take on broad, end-to-end accounting responsibilities for several entities. As Sigicom continues its international expansion, the Finance function is evolving to support the business with robust processes, reporting, and analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining a strong financial foundation while contributing to the development of systems, processes, and ways of working – in close collaboration with colleagues across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accounting and financial records of one or more group companies
• Perform monthly and yearly closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
• Prepare financial reports and analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting, such as VAT, tax, and annual reports
• Act as a point of contact for international entities and external partners
• Monitor accounts receivable and support credit management activities
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
• Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting structures, ERP systems, and internal controls to support the Group’s growth and development
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and provide financial support and guidance to the organisation when needed

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar
• Experience in accounting, auditing, or a similar role
• Experience with closing processes and preferably annual reports
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (K3 is a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, as communication and documentation take place in both languages
• Experience from an accounting firm or an international environment is considered an advantage
