Join Our Mission Against Financial Crime

Would you like to work with a team of highly skilled Software Engineers to build solutions that empower complex investigations? We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong Data Engineering skills to join our Financial Crime Prevention team—where backend engineering, data, and purpose align to detect and prevent bad actors.

About the role

As a Java Developer (Data Engineering) in the Financial Crime Prevention team, you will build and maintain Java-based services and data processing capabilities that enable us to detect suspicious behavior and support investigations. You will work end-to-end—from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operations—in close collaboration with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Solid experience with Java (e.g., Java 11+) and building backend services (Spring/Spring Boot or similar)
Experience building data pipelines (streaming and/or batch) and working with large-scale datasets
Hands-on with streaming/messaging (e.g., PubSub) and event-driven architectures
Experience with batch processing frameworks (e.g., Beam) and data modelling
Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability for production systems
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and working in cloud environments
Nice to have: schema registry experience and/or graph databases
Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems
Curiosity and a drive for continuous learning and professional growth
A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and learning from others
