Treasury Operations Specialist & Analyst

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Treasury Operations Specialist & Analyst to join our Treasury Operations & Liquidity Analysis team. In this role, you will help ensure optimal liquidity management, efficient cash flow operations, and strong financial control across Polestar’s global operations.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support daily treasury activities, liquidity analysis, and financial risk mitigation. The team operates at the core of Polestar’s financial infrastructure, supporting liquidity planning, debt instruments, payments, and reporting. Your work will span both operational execution and analytical follow‑up, with clear impact on financial resilience and decision‑making.

This position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We work in a hybrid model that combines in‑person collaboration with flexibility for focused individual work. What matters most is quality, accountability, and the ability to operate confidently in a fast‑moving environment.

The responsibilities

In this role, you will support Polestar’s liquidity operations and treasury processes as part of the Treasury Operations & Liquidity Analysis team. You will be instrumental in executing daily treasury activities, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Monitoring liquidity positions, performing liquidity analysis, and supporting stress testing to assess financial resilience

• Managing debt instruments, loans, and intercompany financing, including tracking repayments and maintaining accurate reporting

• Executing and overseeing payments, including vendor invoices, payroll, FX trades, and intercompany transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Supporting hedging operations, settlement tracking, reconciliations, and updates in Treasury Management Systems and ERP tools

You will also handle bank account administration, mandates, and documentation, validate payment instructions and authorisations, maintain records for audit and compliance purposes, and collaborate with banks and counterparties to resolve settlement issues. Continuous improvement of workflows, controls, and data quality is a natural part of the role.

In addition, you will need the following qualifications:

• Several years of experience within treasury operations, liquidity management, banking, or a related financial role, enabling confident execution of daily treasury activities

• A strong understanding of liquidity management, debt instruments, AR processes, and financial workflows, supporting accurate analysis and reporting

• Experience working with accounting systems, treasury systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools, ensuring data integrity and efficiency

• Knowledge of financial controls, compliance requirements, and transaction validation, which is essential for risk mitigation and audit readiness

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, supporting reliable decision‑making and continuous improvement

• Experience with factoring processes and collaboration with IT teams on system enhancements is considered a strong advantage.
