Do you have technical experience and enjoy leading a production team? Then keep reading to find out whether this role is a good fit for you!

The primary purpose of the Team Lead OSP Production is to manage and support the employees within the OSP Production department. You focus on delivering high‑quality products within the agreed timelines. You train employees and document the working methods. In addition, you bring forward ideas to improve and simplify the production process without compromising quality, using Lean Manufacturing principles. You also take appropriate action whenever deviations occur. Finally, you maintain close contact with the OSP Production Support department and the warehouse.

Key tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Instructing and training employees within the OSP Production department.
• Ensuring progress of all ongoing orders for standard products during the production phase
• Conducting regular discussions with employees regarding personal development.
• Participating in product development teams for products already released to market.
• Performing representative sampling and inspections during the production process.
• Contributing to the determination of production times.
• Inspecting incoming products to ensure they meet required specifications based on drawings, bills of materials, or other provided instructions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics/mechanical engineering.
• Several years of experience in a similar production environment.
• Solid knowledge of product configurations.
• Leadership skills.
• Flexibility and perseverance.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Knowledge of soldering.
• Good understanding of ESD‑safe working practices.
• Strong communication skills.
