Om denna position

We are looking for a Lead Technical Engineer to join our Event Platform team and help shape how event-driven integrations are designed and governed across H&M.

In this senior role, you will take a leading position in defining integration standards, patterns, and best practices for event-driven architecture. You will work closely with teams across the organization to design and implement integrations, support complex initiatives, and ensure event-based solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

This role combines technical governance, solution design, and hands-on engineering, helping teams successfully build integrations while driving improvements to our event platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide integration advisory and solution design support to teams and initiatives across the organization.
  • Work directly with teams to design and set up event-based integrations based on business and technical requirements.
  • Drive improvements in how event-based integrations are implemented and used across the organization.
  • Evaluate new capabilities, influence platform evolution, and lead proof-of-concepts where needed.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality integration solutions.

Core Competencies

  • Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with event platforms such as Apache Kafka or Solace PubSub+.
  • Ability to define and drive integration standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Experience designing scalable and reliable integration solutions.
  • Experience of technical leadership, guiding and mentoring development teams.
  • Ability to review architectural decisions and support teams in building high-quality integrations.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms, preferably Azure
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.

Please note: As our culture and teamwork are very important to us, four days (80%) per week of in-office presence in our office are required.
