Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of the financial industry? SEB Kort, a subsidiary of the SEB Group, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our Mobile Apps team.
We develop and maintain core digital products for consumer and commercial cards, consumer loans, and account services, and we expect you to play a key role in ensuring high quality, stability, and trust across our mobile applications and their web counterparts. This is an opportunity to have real ownership and influence over how quality is built into products used by a large customer base.
About the role
As a QA Lead, you will have end-to-end responsibility for quality assurance within our Mobile Apps domain, while also supporting the frontend team responsible for the web versions of our apps with hands-on testing and quality guidance.
You will be embedded in the Mobile Apps team and work proactively throughout the development lifecycle — from refinement and planning to release and post-release validation — ensuring that quality risks are identified early, test coverage is sufficient, and releases meet agreed standards.
Your responsibilities include:
· Own quality assurance for iOS and Android applications
· Define and execute test strategies per feature and release
· Design, maintain, and execute structured test scenarios and regression coverage
· Actively challenge unclear requirements and acceptance criteria
· Perform hands-on testing in both mobile and frontend contexts
· Investigate production and customer-reported issues in collaboration with development & product teams
· Support teams in improving testability and quality ownership
Who we are looking for
You are a senior QA professional who is comfortable being the single point of accountability for quality. You combine hands-on testing with the ability to set direction and create structure.
You demonstrate strong self-leadership and take pride in improving app quality and user experience. You proactively identify gaps in processes and practices and take initiative to improve how quality is ensured across the team.
