We are open to this role being based in either Stockholm or London.

What you’ll do:

We're looking for a visionary and execution-driven Director, Brand Activation to define and lead how our brand comes to life across the world! This is a pivotal global leadership role. You will own Marshall’s brand activation strategy — shaping how Marshall shows up at music experiences, cultural moments, trade shows, and key sales meetings. From global festivals, owned branded spaces, to company kick-offs, you will ensure every activation builds emotional connection with musicians and music lovers while supporting key business and product priorities. You will set the global standards, frameworks, and toolkits that enable consistent, high-impact execution across markets — elevating Marshall’s experiential expression worldwide!

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision

  • Define and evolve Marshall’s global brand activation strategy

  • Embed activation into the annual brand roadmap across campaigns, launches, music strategy, owned spaces, and cultural moments

  • Establish clear principles, frameworks, and success metrics to drive consistency and scalability

Global Experience Leadership

  • Oversee major global activations including:

    • Festivals and cultural moments

    • Flagship trade shows

    • Global commercial sell-in moments

    • Internal brand and company kick-offs

  • Ensure world-class execution that aligns brand storytelling with business impact

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build a high-performing activation function rooted in ownership, clarity, and excellence

  • Influence cross-functional ways of working across brand, creative, commercial, and regional teams

Agency & Partner Management

  • Own relationships with global agencies, production partners, and vendors

  • Lead briefings, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines

  • Ensure activations are delivered on time, on budget, and to Marshall standards

Governance & Optimization

  • Establish robust global processes for planning and production

  • Track performance and translate insights into continuous improvement

  • Stay ahead of trends in music culture and experiential marketing

Who we’re looking for:

  • Deeply connected to music culture and audience engagement trends

  • A strategic thinker with operational sharpness

  • Familiar with creative briefing processes and post-event performance tracking

  • Entrepreneurial and growth-minded

  • A collaborative leader who influences without ego

  • Equally comfortable shaping vision and delivering detail

  • A “no job too small” brand owner

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in experiential marketing, brand experience, or cultural event production on a strategic level

  • Proven delivery of large-scale global activations across trade shows, festivals, and brand moments

  • Experience building scalable global toolkits and activation guidelines

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and cultural storytelling

  • Confident operating within global matrix organisations

  • Experienced in leading agencies and production partners

  • Calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure environments

  • Background in music, lifestyle, or consumer electronics industries
