About the role

Join SEB’s Financial Crime Prevention team as a Senior Java Developer and help stop fraud before it happens. You'll work with modern tech like Java, Kafka, OpenShift, and Spark to build powerful, smart solutions that protect both our customers and society. From requirements to decommissioning, you’ll tackle meaningful challenges in a collaborative, agile environment across Sweden and the Baltics. If you’re driven by purpose and love solving real problems with code – this is your place.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

- Solid experience in Java and Spring Boot development.

- Proven skills in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm.

- Familiarity with in-memory databases like Redis is a plus.

- Experience with streaming and processing technologies such as Kafka and Spark is considered an advantage.

- Experience with Elasticsearch and ECK.

- Front-End experience is beneficial.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

- A passion for solving problems, learning, and continuous improvement.

- A flexible, positive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and team collaboration.

- Experience working in agile environments, ideally within the SAFe framework.
