Job Responsibilities 

 

As an Assignment Leader, you will lead and manage meaningful assignments from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned with our strategic goals. 

You’ll establish and guide cross-functional project teams, developing and coordinating progress, timelines, business cases, and key activities. 

Your responsibilities will include representing project teams at various information and decision forums and motivating and coaching team members to maintain progress despite any obstacles. Additionally, you will actively contribute to improvement initiatives, helping drive us toward our long-term strategic targets.

This role will develop your leadership skills and broaden your competence and network. In addition, give a good understanding of the bus business operation

 

Who You Are 

 

You have significant experience from project management, R&D development work or procurement. You hold preferably a BS degree in Engineering. Experience from red arrow or product follow-up is meriting.

As a person you are driven and structured, like to lead others and take initiative. You enjoy engaging other people to work towards set goals and have a good ability to build relationships. Furthermore, you are flexible, humble and have a forward-thinking mentality.  

English is a key language, and you are confident in your communication abilities, both in speaking and writing .


This Is Us 

 

The team is working with Product Follow up for Bus Chassis, both from a quality and cost improvement perspective. Our team is assigned to a wide range of assignments, that origins both from the end customer and internal customers at Scania. The team has a large network over Scania, as assignments require collaboration with functions all over Scania e.g. Purchasing, Sales & Marketing and Production. This Team is a driven and dynamic section, consisting of Designers and Assignment Managers, where employee well-being is a key factor.
