Seeking a hands-on Test Lead with outstanding leadership, management, and technical skills. The ideal candidate will actively participate in and oversee all testing activities, ensuring our products' quality and reliability by managing in-house testing processes and resolving technical issues without over-reliance on external vendors. In the midst of a major technical shift towards a SaaS-based landscape, this role is critical for defining and maintaining our test strategy, coordinating testing across projects and maintenance, and integrating testability into the requirements from the start. Responsibilities include planning and executing tests, managing defects and teams, setting up test environments, risk management, and advocating for best practices.

Key Duties

• Strategize and implement test plans.
• Guide and support business testers across projects and maintenance.
• Oversee automated test updates.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams for cohesive project alignment.
• Engage in test activities: design, execution, defect management.
• Offer technical solutions for issues encountered.
• Ensure internal expertise over external vendor reliance for problem-solving.

Must-Have:

• Demonstrated leadership within test/QA area.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Technical acumen to navigate complex systems.
• Strong collaborative spirit and business process insight.
• You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
• Solid background in software testing, both strategic and hands-on.

Location: Insjön or Stockholm office. If placed in Stockholm, travels to Insjön is expected in the role.
