Your role

As our Global Business Development Manager, Station Control Solutions, you will drive business growth and support our customers in their transition to Smarter Assembly Solutions. You will lead the development of our location, vision and projection solutions within the General Industry division – solutions that, combined with our smart assembly tools and software, give our customers complete control over their assembly process.  

You will be a part of our global Integrated Assembly Ecosystem team in the General Industry Division and report to the Global Business Manager Integrated Assembly Ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Own the go-to-market strategy for Station Control in the General Industry – from mapping industries and key accounts to identifying business potential and opportunities to create value for our customers. 
  • Drive the development and business expansion of Station Control solutions globally (travel up to 30% of your time). 
  • Collaboration closely with Global Product Managers to ensure our products have a great fit for critical assembly needs. 
  • Define, manage, and monitor key product and business performance indicators such as revenue growth, adoption rates, and NPS. 
  • Be an expert on the products within your area of responsibility and translate this information to concrete business value for our customers. 
  • Create business plans, white papers, and sales material 
  • Collaborate with R&D, customer centers, and product divisions to ensure a deep market knowledge and to ensure that we develop the best products in the market. 
  • Support local customer centers with solution proposals, lead analysis, and customer meetings to ensure relevant, value‑adding solutions. 
  • Document, communicate and demonstrate best practices to customer centers globally. 
  • Drive or contribute to global marketing activities, including product launches, campaigns, and product training. 

To succeed, you will need

You bring a combination of business insight and a genuine interest in how smart technologies transform modern assembly.  

More specifically, you'll bring: 

  • Experience in product management or business development, preferable within an area that relates to assembly or production. 
  • Ability to create and communicate compelling value propositions, grounded in real customer challenges and opportunities. 
  • A customer‑oriented mindset, with ability to explore, identify, and translate customer needs into high‑value solutions. 
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding, enabling you to evaluate opportunities, prioritize effectively, and drive profitable growth. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

In addition to these qualifications, you are proactive, curious and results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability. You’re comfortable navigating a global, crossfunctional environment and collaborate naturally with cross functional teams.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Stockholm, Sweden (SE).
