About the job

Quality Assurance Sustainability Specialist

About AAK

Our purpose, Making Better Happen™, describes our commitment to continuous improvement.

AAK specializes in plant-based oils that serve as value-adding ingredients in a wide range of popular consumer products. We make these products tastier, healthier, and more sustainable. With our oils, the sensory qualities of products can be enhanced — for example, by making the texture of premium chocolate smoother, plant-based burgers juicier, or low‑fat puff pastry crispier. By replacing ingredients with AAK’s plant-based alternatives, our customers can also optimize and streamline their production. With value-adding oils and fats, we help our customers succeed better.

Co-development with customers and an understanding of what “better” means for each individual customer are at the core of our business. With our flexible production facilities and extensive expertise, we deliver our value-adding products to a range of industries, such as chocolate and confectionery, bakery, dairy, plant-based foods, special nutrition, foodservice, and personal care. Our 4,000 employees work closely with customers through 25 regional sales offices, 15 innovation centers, and with support from more than 20 production facilities.

AAK, headquartered in Malmö, is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in Stockholm and has been striving for continuous improvement for 150 years.

Our plant in Karlshamn is a multifunctional facility. All the company’s business areas are represented here. Swedish-grown rapeseed is an important raw material, while a large variety of vegetable fats are shipped directly to the Karlshamn factory from producing countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The Nordic region is an important home market, while specialty products are exported from Karlshamn to customers all over the world.
