Your role & influence as Legal Counsel
Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for advising on complex EU privacy and digital law regulations and for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust legal framework that supports the company’s technology strategy, compliance, and long-term regulatory governance.
Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of regulatory tech governance, ensuring that compliance and innovation go hand in hand. The team supports Dustin with the legal interpretation and implementation of complex laws aiming at regulating digital technologies, artificial intelligence, information security, marketing, e-commerce, digital communication and tracking technologies. You'll work closely not only with your immediate team members but also with departments across Dustin, including Offering, E-commerce, Relation Sales, Tech, Procurement, and HR.

Analyse and resolve advanced legal issues within the realm of privacy, AI and data protection, translating regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for the business.
Build and continuously refine a comprehensive legal framework, policies, and structures that anticipate regulatory change and support business growth.
Strengthen compliance maturity across the organization by leading knowledge sharing and acting as a trusted advisor in strategic decision-making.

Additionally, it's important that:
You have a bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking, with a European law degree.
You have demonstrated experience with key EU regulations, including the GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and the AI Act, and possess the level of experience required to operate independently. You bring an understanding of and interest in technology related to data protection and digital law.
You have the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical, business-oriented guidance.
You enjoy collaborating in a diverse, multinational environment and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
You are fluent in English, with the ability to effectively perform your work entirely in English.
