About the Role
As an HR Systems Specialist you will have a strategic role in developing and optimizing Aspia’s Workday HCM solutions. You will ensure that our HR processes run smoothly and create value for the entire organization – from talent management and payroll to reporting and compliance.
In this role, you will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and the business to understand needs and translate them into effective solutions. You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and are the one who solves complex issues and drives major HRIS projects, while also handling quick ad hoc challenges with precision. Here you’ll have the opportunity to influence, develop, and shape the future of HR systems in an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain, develop, and configure Workday modules and business processes – including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, workflows, security groups and data fields to meet evolving business needs
Create and manage data-driven solutions in Workday – by developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and calculated fields to support informed decision-making
Collaborate with IT to manage integrations between Workday and other systems (e.g., payroll providers, financial systems, resource planning)
Coordinate and perform testing during Workday releases, patches, and new features to ensure system stability and functionality
Create routines and deliver administrator training to increase system adoption
About You
You are an experienced Workday specialist with a strong commitment to developing smart HR solutions. You combine technical expertise with business understanding and thrive in a dynamic environment where you switch between strategic work and quick problem-solving. You enjoy diving into details, configuring systems and collaborating with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to create value. With your openness, curiosity, structure and communication skills you always find new ways forward.
To succeed in this role, you have:
Several years of experience with Workday in configuration, support, or implementation
Structure and accountability in driving projects and flexibility to balance details with strategic perspectives
Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus
Experience in an international context
A bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration or similar
Workday certifications (e.g., HCM Core, Reporting, Compensation) are an advantage
