- Senior technical role within the Global Operations team, responsible for ensuring stability, security, and performance of critical integration platforms.
- Opportunity to influence operational strategy and shape best practices for enterprise integration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical authority for operational aspects of:
- API Management (Microsoft)
- Event Management (Solace & Kafka)
- iPaaS (Workato)
- Ensure platform reliability and implement preventative IT security measures, including:
- Vulnerability management and patching
- Identity and access control
- Secure configuration and compliance audits
- Disaster recovery planning
- Drive automation and observability improvements, including:
- Automating routine operational tasks
- Enhancing monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Provide operational requirements and technical input to platform development teams.
- Adhere to ITIL-based operational frameworks, including change management and incident handling.
- Build strong relationships across a large organization to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Technical Skills:
- Senior-level proficiency in at least one of:
- Microsoft API Management
- Event-driven architecture (+Solace or Kafka)
- Enterprise automation tools (+Workato)
- Cloud proficiency (Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting skills using tools/languages such as (Python, Bash, Java-script, ARM, Bicep)
- Knowledge of preventative IT security practices.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools, such as:
- Splunk / Splunk Observability
- Datadog
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Dynatrace
- Azure Monitor
- Familiarity with Open Telemetry standard
- Experience with ITSM and planning tools, such as:
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in platform engineering or similar technical roles.
- Proven track record in managing and supporting enterprise integration platforms in an operational capacity.
- Experience in designing and implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and security solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational governance frameworks.
