This role plays a key part in the financial steering of the Franchise function. As Financial Controller you will be an integral member of the Global Franchise team, working closely with the Head of Controlling for Franchise, as well as collaborating with our franchise partners and core corporate functions—including Accounting, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, and Business Tech. 

The Franchise team is growing as we continue to strengthen support for existing partners and welcome new partners, markets, and brands, driving sustainable growth for the Group. The team is highly diverse, representing more than 10 nationalities and working with partners across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and South America. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Steer discussions between Franchisees and Global Functions (Transfer Pricing, Tax, Accounting, and Treasury) to ensure alignment and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. 
• Establish and maintain robust internal control mechanisms for both existing and new partners. 
• Identify, steer, and resolve financial issues with franchise partners, delivering holistic solutions that incorporate cross-functional perspectives. 
• Support financial planning, reporting, and performance monitoring in close coordination with local and global stakeholders. 
• Ensure timely submission of statutory tax and audit requirements by Franchisees. 
• Follow up on payments between the Franchisor and Franchisees, ensuring accurate accounting in strong partnership with Franchise Accounting. 
• Ensure all profit and cost centers are correctly established and maintained for Franchise. 

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with...  

• 5-7 years experience working in financial controlling or related roles, preferably with exposure to accounting, tax and transfer pricing in an international business environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting, tax, and transfer pricing principles. 
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional discussions and align diverse stakeholders. 
• Experience in designing and managing internal control frameworks. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to deliver holistic, data-driven financial solutions. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across geographies and functions. 
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
