Your challenge:

Are you a creative and driven leader eager to bring tomorrow’s technologies to life today? As an R&D Manager at Getinge Applikon, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. You will be at the helm of our R&D department, where you will collaborate with a talented team to shape the future of biotechnology. You will be the engine behind the new product development and product care of bioreactor systems.

 

 

What will you do?

  • Inspire and lead the R&D team in developing bioreactor systems
  • Ensure that cross functional New Product Development is executed within the established requirements, quality, budgets, timelines, and in accordance with applicable procedures, laws, regulations, and instructions
  • Ensure that Product Care is performed to maintain the highest quality on the product offered to the market
  • As part of the Management Team co-define the strategic direction of our R&D activities, while working closely together with international teams to turn innovative ideas into reality
  • Manage the R&D Team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure seamless cooperation with the greater Getinge Delft organization
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations so that our innovations are safe, reliable, sustainable and effective

 

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering field, with a proven track record in a leadership role within R&D
  • A strategic thinker who can translate complex problems into smart, practical solutions.
  • An inspirational leader capable of motivating and coaching teams to achieve their full potential
  • An excellent communicator, fluent in both Dutch and English, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and convincingly
  • Knowledge of the biotechnology industry and a passion for developing technologies that truly matter
