Our Communication Platform team transforms how Resurs interacts with our customers. We engineer solutions that handle document workflows, APIs, and large-scale message delivery, ensuring communication is timely, personalized, and compliant. Here, your code directly shapes the customer’s experience.

Get an idea of the role
As part of the Communication Platform team, you’ll contribute to building and maintaining a modern communication ecosystem that covers creation, storage and distribution of customer communication.
Your day-to-day may include:
🚀 Designing and developing scalable solutions for document and message creation across product areas like loans, deposits and retail finance.
⚙️Improving our communication flow integrations, connecting systems like Mobius, Inspire and our core banking platform.
🧠 Working with data and APIs to ensure every customer receives the right message, at the right time, through the right channel (Email, SMS, Kivra, App, My Pages and more).
🤝 Collaborating closely with other product teams, marketing, and customer care to align communication strategies and technologies.
📦 Taking ownership of technical design, testing, and deployment from idea to production.
On a personal level
We believe you have:
✔️4+ years building and operating production backend or full-stack systems.
✔️Strong JVM backend experience (Java); ability/willingness to work with Rust/Go.
✔️Proven experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
✔️Solid AWS expertise (SQS/SNS/EventBridge, API Gateway/ALB, ECS/EKS/Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB) + IaC exposure.
✔️Strong security fundamentals (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, IAM least-privilege, secrets management).
✔️Hands-on with containers and CI/CD (Docker/Podman, GitHub Actions).
✔️Collaborative mindset with clear communication, ownership, mentoring skills, and active use of AI-assisted development tools.
