We are looking for a Production Engineer with passion to add value to our customers. 
Within our department, PSE Industrial Engineering, we are responsible for internal production support in hand-zone problem solving related to assembly and stand-alone test of Key Components as well BPU assembly/dismantling, produced in Lund Production Centre.
Production Engineering team play a determinant role as technical lighthouse in Production operations, with strong link towards KC and LFS organizations and suppliers.
You will drive improvements on both process, tools and methods with end-to-end approach, to secure quality of our products and internal operational efficiency.

Position is permanent, based in Lund - Sweden. Hiring Manager is Production Engineering Leader within organization “PSE – Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration - Industrial Engineering”.

What you will do

As Production Engineer, you will:

  • First line support in driving technical issues resolution within Electrical and Mechanical area, during KC and BPU equipment assembly / dismantling, to grant deliveries in quality & on time to Customers. You will be also reference for Homogenizers testing methods, in strong connection with product development and specification owners.
  • Drive mid/long term improvement activities, according to World Class Manufacturing methodology, as drive/contribute to Early Management Projects
  • Contributing to the industrialization journey of equipment (Product Development and Product Life Cycle), securing new product production readiness
  • Manage stakeholder interaction with the relevant internal organizations like KC, LFS, SuM, as well as Suppliers.
  • Improve global operational standards keeping connections with other Processing Production Centres around the globe

We believe you have

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience from a technical position
  • A background in Automation/Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on and practical approach
  • A genuine technical interest in working with technologies in a flexible, creative environment.
  • Self-motivated and driven problem solver with a strong customer focus. Result-oriented, never compromises on quality
  • Ability to work under time pressure, technical decision taker with customer priorities in mind
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken is required
  • Ability to work in groups, create professional relations with different level of stakeholders, good presentation skills
     

Technical Knowledges

  • Key Components knowledges: Homogenizers, Heat Exchangers, Separators. Processing Unit lines knowledges.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical and automation technology used in the food processing industry. 
  • WCM methodology knowledges
  • Design for Excellence / Design for Cost skills or experience will be a plus
  • Experience in food industry manufacturing area will be a plus
  • Experience in food & dairy system design will be a plus
