You will be working within our Hardware & Design business area, where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain digital products, primarily Android apps. Most often, in close collaboration and in joint contribution, with the corresponding iOS app.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to craft seamless, user-friendly solutions.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and high-quality delivery.
• Participate in architectural discussions and influence tech decisions and design patterns.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to enhance the development process and user experience.
• Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture. Help guide our clients by understanding their goals and suggesting solutions that create real value for them—and us.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced developer with solid knowledge of the Android SDK.
• You are comfortable with Kotlin or Java, and have worked with Android architectures such as MVI, MVP, or MVVM. Bonus if you’re familiar with Jetpack Compose.
• You understand and apply design patterns that help you write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
• You have experience with unit testing and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• You care about system architecture, usability, and interface design.
• You have worked with asynchronous and reactive programming, for example with RxJava or Kotlin coroutines/flow.
• You are used to working in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, designers, developers, and testers.
• You are experienced in code reviews and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• You thrive as a consultant — driven by curiosity for our clients’ business and needs, using your expertise to help them succeed and growing together with our team at Knightec Group.

Meriting:

• Experience with iOS development (Swift), or with multiplatform frameworks such as React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform, or Flutter.
• Experience as web developer, frontend or fullstack.

Practical Information

This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. You’ll be based in our central Stockholm office, but we support hybrid and flexible work arrangements.
