Their cooling solutions ensure dependable operation in critical power transmission systems, supporting the global transition toward sustainable and efficient energy infrastructure.

As a Lead Engineer focusing on system functionality, process, and automation, you will coordinate cooling system solutions within the product development segment. This is a technical leadership role with broad responsibility across electrical, automation, and system design — and close collaboration with mechanical engineering and system calculation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical expert in functional design, process engineering, and automation.
  • Lead and coordinate R&D development work within assigned projects under a project manager’s guidance.
  • Engage with customers to understand specifications and transform requirements into technical solutions and design concepts.
  • Take ownership of technical solutions in specific parts or complete projects depending on scope and complexity.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated, high-quality design results.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to colleagues within the R&D team.
  • Develop and maintain marketing and decision support documents such as concepts, cost estimates, and design proposals.
  • Contribute to long-term technology development and standardization efforts within cooling systems.Typical Tasks
  • Electrical and automation design, including cabinet layout, component selection, and PLC/DCS programming.
  • Process and functional design documentation, BOM creation, and supplier specifications.
  • Participation in prototype and component testing, FAT, DFMA, and integration testing with customers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation: test protocols, technical reports, manuals, and quality records.
  • Support commissioning and site acceptance tests (SAT) at customer facilities when needed.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and evaluate new technologies to strengthen future system performance.

Requirements:

  • Around 10 years of experience in product development within industrial automation or electrical design, ideally in customer-specific projects.
  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Previous experience as team lead, lead project engineer, or project manager.
  • Solid understanding of CE certification, 2006/42/EC, IEC61439, and IEC61000 standards.
  • Skilled in PLC/DCS/RTU/IPC/HMI programming and system integration.
  • Experience with automation cabinets, low-voltage switchgear, and control system equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and technical English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious: knowledge of UL/CSA certification, EMC testing, VFDs, UPS systems, or voltage stabilisers.

Location: Landskrona
