Job Responsibilities

As Unit Manager, you will:

 

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams working with CAD/vPDM solutions
• Guide the shift toward modular and digital product development
• Build bridges – fostering trust and collaboration across teams, brands, and countries
• Drive exciting strategic initiatives, such as:
• Transforming our CAD/vPDM platform into a modern digital ecosystem
• Creating a common way of working across TRATON brands
• Supporting our business expansion in China with smart processes and IT solutions
• Nurture a high-performing culture where diverse voices, teamwork, and personal growth are celebrated

Who You Are

You are a visionary, people-centered leader who thrives in dynamic, technical environments. In your role you combine strategic thinking with the ability to coach, support, and motivate your teams.

 

You bring:

 

• Proven leadership experience in engineering, IT, or digital transformation
• Hands-on knowledge of CAD/vPDM platforms (e.g., CATIA, Enovia, 3DEXPERIENCE)
• Experience from working with technical document and access management
• Understanding of modularization and sustainable product development
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (German is a plus)
• Experience in AI technology supporting solution development
• A degree in engineering or a related field
