Join Getinge as a Strategy Associate within Acute Care Therapies (ACT). In this position, you will be a part of the new Strategy and Transformation team, a team with members working tightly together, but with different lead responsibilities. Together with the Sr. Director of Strategy, you will help shape the annual Business Area strategy process. Further, you will prepare presentations to convey key insights, and offer analytical support. The role will also include aligning various stakeholders. We are looking for a highly motivated strategic thinker, with MS Office proficiency and experience in making board-level PPT slides, who wants to grow in their career with us.

The position is located at our site in Solna. Remote working is possible up to 40%.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Perform research and analysis of e.g. internal data, industry trends, market positioning.
• Prepare management- and board material.
• Identify and structure problems in a hypothesis-driven way, and offer solutions.
• Synthesize recommendations and understand impact on the business.
• Provide support to the Product Area (PA) strategy development process, and offer insightful perspectives.
• Provide support to internal strategy- and transformation leaders.
• Manage relationships with external advisors.
• Perform other ad-hoc analysis

Your experience / skills include:

• Master’s degree in economics, management, finance, engineering or similar.
• 1-3 years’ experience from consulting firm, private equity, investment bank or similar.
• Experience from medtech/R&D meriting; however, not a requirement.
• Enthusiastic and social team-player.
• Strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of business acumen – understands the industry and company main drivers.
• 80-20: i.e. delivers on time, and prioritizes well.
• Excellent skills in MS Office (e.g. PPT and Excel).
• Proficiency in English – Swedish is a plus.
