Business Area Acute Care Therapies


The Business Area Acute Care Therapies (ACT), representing approximately +50% share of the total net sales in Getinge, consists of six Product Areas with full P/L responsibility. Acute Care Therapies offers world-leading products for life support and therapies in acute health conditions. The offering includes solutions for Critical Care, Cardiac and Vascular surgery and Vascular interventions. Acute Care Therapies develops advanced clinical solutions that can contribute to improving therapy results, achieving more rapid recovery and enhancing quality of life for patients in intensive care and surgery. Acute Care Therapies has production sites in the US, Germany, France, Sweden, Turkey and China. 

 

The Position


We are looking for our next ACT Business Controller to join the team! You will mainly be working within ACT financial planning and analysis with focus on P&L and working capital (Monthly, Forecast, Financial Plan). Work with the financial process and transformation across ACT Finance to unlock efficiencies, incl align way of working and improve system support. Support finance management as a finance business partner. The ACT Business Controller works closely with the ACT Senior Business Controller and the position is reporting to the ACT Chief Financial Officer. 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • ACT management reporting (Monthly, Forecast, Financial Plan), analyze and prepare management reporting
  • Define and implement efficient ways of working related to finance reporting 
  • Act as subject matter expert on financial reporting tools/financial models/software for ACT 
  • Drive transformation across ACT Finance (incl increased system support and ways of working)
  • Financial support in M&A projects and other special projects.
  • Work to integrate new businesses or product lines within the ACT business 
  • Serve as ACT Finance Representative on global cross functional projects.

 

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

 

  • Minimum 5 years working experience within controlling/finance
  • Relevant degree in engineering or accounting/finance (minimum B.Sc.)
  • Experience from a global international environment and to work in a matrix organization
  • Good business understanding, a business partner
  • System knowledge (PowerBi, Microsoft Office)
  • You are driven by understanding the drivers behind the figures 
  • Good collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different departments to accomplish shared goals. 
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong ability to communicate, present and visualize 
  • Ability to influence and inspire others to perform
  • Ability to structure, organize and follow-up
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly


Languages

 

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
