Product Specialist - Card as a service

What you will do:

As a Product Specialist for Cards as a Service you will be part of the Account & Payments product Domain in our Banking as a Service (BaaS) organization. You will work together with the team on consumer financing which enables distributors to issue debit and credit cards and offer a range of different features such as self service card settings, tokenized wallet support, virtual cards and different card designs.

You will work closely with all types of competences within the team to ensure that we build the best solutions on the market and that day-to-day operations works efficiently. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Subject matter expert: contribute with your product expertise to ensure that we cover all aspects that needs to be covered but also ensure that the team members increase their product domain knowledge.
• Project coordination: drive and support the work with vendors and clients to make sure that schedules, actions and details of given tasks are well organized.
• Lead product initiatives: take lead on future development, gather stakeholder input, and ensure that the product team has everything they need to jointly create the best solution.
• Process modeling: document processes and optimize existing ones to efficiently manage the product throughout the life cycle – all together with an efficient implementation of regulatory requirements. 
• Operational excellence: continuously seek ways to enhance quality and cost efficiency, and what actions that can be taken to enhance performance and mitigate related risks. 

Who you are:

• You have +3 years of experience in the card issuing industry and know how the products work throughout the life cycle.
• Good understanding of the market and related regulatory landscape, and how it impacts the product.
• Organized with a knack for details.
• Excellent analytical thinking abilities, data informed decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in process modeling and operational excellence.
• Ability to identify risks and efficiently mitigate them when needed.
• Meritorious: experience from the bank industry and knowledge of Mastercard scheme management.
