Credit Risk Officer

We are building banking as a service products and now we are looking for a Credit Risk Officer to be a part of the development journey.

This is a new position at SEB Embedded and you will have an impact right away. We are looking for someone to team up with our Product Specialists to build state of the art credit products. If you are a credit risk evangelist ready to roll up your sleeves and put your knowledge to work, then this is the position for you!

As the Credit Risk Officer you will work across the organization but have your home base in our Financing product team. You will work closely with product stakeholders as well as our risk organization. This is a new role and your responsibilities will evolve over time, but for now your main responsibilities will be:

• Be a part of designing and building risk mitigated credit products from scratch.

• Ensure that we are compliant with the Financial Supervisory Authority’s recommendations.

• Share knowledge and educate the rest of the organization.

• Contribute to the product development from a risk and governance perspective, including ensuring proper documentation.

• Collaborate with our insights team to ensure business decisions based on data.

You are ready to take the next step in your career and eager to be a part of a collaborative and forefront striving team. Moreover, you have:

• 5+ years of experience working with credit products at a bank or fintech.

• Profound knowledge of credit risk.

• Knowledge in Swedish law and regulations related to credit.

• An understanding of how the product process works related to credit products.

• You like to be challenged and are curious to be a part of a startup journey.
