Credit Analyst Director

Do you want to play a key role in developing how a modern bank works with credit risk? We are now looking for a Credit Analyst Director to lead a senior team and strengthen our modelling frameworks, ensuring that credit stays at the core of our business decisions.

In this role, you will lead a team of senior credit analysts working across analytics, modelling and data science. You will be responsible for developing our modelling framework, refining our credit risk appetite, and ensuring high standards in underwriting and portfolio monitoring, all while supporting the growth and development of your team. This role also involves close collaboration with the broader Credit & NPL department as well as business and data/engineering functions, giving you the chance to influence how we work with credit analysis across the business.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Drive the development and maintenance of credit risk models and the IFRS 9 framework

• Translate analytical insights into business impact on credit granting and profitability

• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to strengthen analytical capabilities

• Contribute actively to the credit committee and other decision-making forums

• Ensure precision, quality and compliance in the models and methods we use

We believe you bring:

• A university degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field

• Extensive experience (10+ years) from modelling, analytics or data science

• Proven ability to connect portfolio and credit risk analysis to business impact

• Experience with SQL databases, SAS and logistic regression

• Solid understanding of IFRS 9 and knowledge of the AI Act

• Background from banking, finance or insurance is a plus
